Bumps and Babes is a Play Group for babies, toddlers and mums to be. Sessions take place on Thursday afternoons during term time from 1.30pm to 3pm in the Parish Centre. All are welcome. Parents and carers are asked to make a £1 contribution towards tea, coffee and cake.

Rhyme Time is a themed art, craft and music group for pre-school children. Sessions take place every Tuesday during term time 9.30am-11.20am in the Parish Centre. Sessions start with an art and craft project that ties in with and is followed by action songs, nursery rhymes (some old, some new!) and children’s worship songs. Makaton signing is used with the singing to encourage children to join in. Following a snack time, a more active music session follows using percussion instruments, parachute, beanbags, ribbons and more!

Xstream is an after school club for 7-11 year olds (school years 3-6) run jointly with the United Reformed Church in Broxbourne. Sessions take place on Wednesday afternoons from 3.15pm to 4.45pm at the URC in Mill Lane. Children enjoy a range of lively and quieter games and activities, and during each session there is time to hear part of the story of God’s love.

Alive is our youth group for young people in school years 6-13, aiming to disciple and mentor young people. There are regular social events and the opportunity for one to one mentoring (catchup for a coffee and a chat). Hitch Hikers is an initiative for 11-18 year olds (school years 7-13) run jointly with the United Reformed Church in Broxbourne. A number of groups are held on Sundays evenings in term time in the Upper Room at the URC:
A usual evening involves games, refreshments and Spirit Zone, which gives young people something to think about – perhaps a Bible story or book, or life issues relevant to the group. Regular trips are also organised, such as bowling evenings, trips to Quasar, or summer rambles along the river or through the woods. All young people who have left primary school but are not old enough for university are welcome!
